It's time to fire the cannons! Tom Brady vs. Patrick Mahomes in a battle of titans. The GOAT – and my GOAT of GOATs) takes on a legend in the making, Patrick Mahomes. Not only that, but we have the battle of GOAT tight end Gronk vs. Travis Kelce, who might as well go down as #1 or #2 in the list!
So, the Kansa City Chiefs take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Tampa Bay, Florida, at the Bucs' home stadium, the Raymond James Stadium.
To watch Super Bowl LV outside the US, you are going to need a VPN, and I am going to throw a few recommendations here for you, as I will be tuned to support my GOAT too.
The easiest way to watch the Super Bowl for free on your computer will be to tune in to CBS Sports, but of course, you need a VPN to overcome geo-blocking.
You can also connect to a UK server, enter a UK zip code and watch Super Bowl LV from the BBC iPlayer. I prefer US coverage for NFL since it's an American sport.
I will be watching using CyberGhost (the next VPN I'm going to review) as my ExpressVPN subscription (to check it) expires today. The third VPN I recommend is NordVPN. You can't go wrong with any of the three, though, as they are all swift and optimized for streaming. Funny that privacy-enhancing services have ended up being used for streaming and geo-blocking.

- Eurosport
- BBC iPlayer

Get rid of ISP throttling with CyberGhost's unlimited bandwidth to encounter no buffering and drops in stream quality. You won't miss a Touchdown even if it's scored by someone as fast as Tyreek Hill as CyberGhost delivers a very smooth and consistent stream.
CyberGhost provides 6,900 servers across 90 countries, so you will not have trouble unblocking anything, including the Super Bowl, and its up to 7 simultaneous connection support allows you to share the stream with your family.
Finally, with an industry-leading 45-day money-back guarantee, you have a lot of time to evaluate the service and decide whether you will keep it or not.

NordVPN delivers arguably the fastest service available with no limits on data or bandwidth. NordVPN network counters geo-blocking with SmartPlay, so once again, it will be easy for you to connect anywhere you want.

I've been evaluating ExpressVPN for a month and it's definitely one of the best VPN networks out there. You won't have a problem unlocking anything, so it will be a good fit for your Super Bowl 55 experience.
ExpressVPN offers fewer servers than the other two recommendations with 3,000+ servers but covers the most locations with 94 countries.
Combine that with a 5 simultaneous device connections support and a 30-day money-back guarantee and you are ready for a great experience.

Free options
I cannot guarantee that any of this will run smoothly especially if you connect to the US from far away. However, if you in for some experiment and the potential for disappointment you can have a look at my best free VPNs in 2021 guide. Make sure that you select on of the options with at least 10GB data limit. Personally, I would recommend the following three:
- HotSpot Shield Free VPN: Fast, 15GB data limit (unlimited if you use the Chrome extension), only good for the CBS stream, which it has a good chance of unblocking. Since it offers only one server location – in the US – BBC iPlayer won't work.
- ProtonVPN Free: You may experience throttling since the Super Bowl is the definition of peak time, so the speed is probably a no-go but it offers unlimited data if you want to risk it. It also offers a free trial of the premium plan for 7 days, but it cannot unblock the BBC iPlayer. There is a good chance it will work with the CBS stream.
- Windscribe: Windscribe offers up to 15GB of data in the free version and can unblock BBC iPlayer so in most likelihood it will be able to unblock the CBS stream. However, while the speeds are better than ProtonVPN, they are still not great.
Overall, I strongly believe that the Super Bowl is not the best time to experiment so I highly recommend you choose a paid VPN and decide in the upcoming weeks whether you keep it or not.
