I get it. We are almost there and while you can handle the wait, what you want to know is if your gaming rig can handle it. Elden Ring is moments away, it has already received stellar reviews, and you want to know whether you will be able to run the game on your computer.
Thankfully, FromSoftware has made Elden Ring's system requirements official. The downside is that even slightly dated PC won't handle the game's demanding minimal requirements.
ELDEN RING minimum PC Specs – System Requirements
The minimum Elden Ring PC requirements align with the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S rather than consoles from the previous generation.
You'll need an Intel Core i5-8400 processor or an AMD Ryzen 3 3300X CPU to run the game efficiently. However, it's unclear how this will affect Elden Ring's visuals or performance. Although the game supports 4K visuals and ray tracing at 60 frames per second, you won't even sniff these settings with the bare minimum specs.
The 4K resolutions on the Xbox Series X and PS5 editions of Elden Ring support “up to 60 frames per second”, HDR, and ray tracing. The game's maximum resolution is 900p on a basic Xbox One; it can reach 4K on Xbox One X; it can reach 1080p on the PS4, and it can support 1800p on the PS4 Pro. The previous-gen editions support only 30 frames per second.
The PC version of Elden Ring will require 12GB of memory. It also requires an Nvidia GeForce GTX1060 or AMD Radeon RX580. Both of these items will run you several hundred dollars. Players will require at least an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 and AMD Radeon RX Vega56 on the higher end. These are expensive and difficult to find.

Elden Ring's PC specifications received mixed reactions. Many players acknowledged the requirements even at the lower end. @Primexile99 tweeted, “I don't understand how this can run in a base Xbox One or PS4 but has the same requirements as next-gen games on PC.” Many people believe the minimum requirements are lower than FromSoftware originally stated.
