Elden Ring Incantations Elden Ring's variation of Miracles from previous FromSoftware games, yet they are far more flexible. Rather than being limited to healing, buffing, dealing damage to undead-type foes, Incantations can do so much more in Elden Ring.
Casting Incantations increases self-healing for a character and dramatically increases your options for combat, exploration, or anything else.
There are two ways to get started with incantations early on: Players can either select a class equipped with the ability to cast Incantations right from the start of the game or advance far enough to meet the Incantation merchant in Roundtable Hold to obtain a Seal.
Elden Ring incantations require Faith and Intelligence to use, as you will see below, while there are a few that require more than one slot to equip and use.
Pick a class with Inherent Incantation Casting abilities
Two classes of Elden Ring's eight classes can cast Incantations in Elden Ring. However, their options are limited to two incantations for each class early in the game.
The Prophet begins with the Heal incantation. This heals the caster along with nearby allies. Additionally, the Prophet's Catch Flame incantation creates a quick burst of flame at point-blank range.
Meanwhile, the Confessor starts with Urgent Heal, which heals the caster for a minimal amount of HP, and Assassin's Approach, which completely silences the movement of the caster and reduces fall damage making the class ideal for stealthy gameplay early on.

How to Cast Incantations in Elden Ring
Players can perform both Sorceries and Incantations similarly but with different means. If you don't have one or are looking for one, Incantations users cast their spells through a Seal. To assign at the Site of Lost Grace, get Incantations from Brother Corhyn if you don't have one.
Select “Memorize Spell” when you next stop at a Site of Lost Grace. This will bring up a screen that displays your current Memory Slots, spells, and inventory. You can equip the Incantations that you wish to cast from this screen. To cast your current Incantation, exit this menu. Make sure your Seal is on your shoulder. You can find your current selection at the top left of the menu. Press the D-pad and cycle through all of your previously memorized spells to toggle the Incantation currently in use.
