To avoid any spoilers, yes. Mugen Train takes place before the “Entertainment District” arc in the manga, so it's best to watch the movie before jumping to season 2.

The first season ended with Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke charged with their first major assignment as part of the Demon Slayer Corps.

Rengoku, a member of the Hashira (elite Demon Slayer swordsman) is tasked with accompanying the trio – and with Tanjiro's sister-turned-demon Nezuko in tow.

Mugen Train follows Tanjiro and co. as they take on the Lower One of the Twelve Demon Moons, the demonic group led by the original demon Muzan Kibutsuji (Ubuyashiki). Muzan Kibutsuji is also the perpetrator of the Kamado family's killings and Tanjiro's archrival.

After the events of Mugen Train, and the end of the Infinity Train saga, Tanjiro, the Hashira, and the Demon Slayer Corps will have to deal with the consequences and face new enemies.

The second season, as shown by the trailer below, sees the group heading to Yoshiwara, a town with bright lights and dark desires.
