Intel Core i9-11900K ‘Rocket Lake-S’ alleged CPU-Z benchmark score

According to Uniko’s Hardware, Intel will release the 11th Gen Core series on March 15th, 2021. If the leaked score is confirmed, there will be a significant increase in Intel Core i9-11900K's performance over single-core speed compared to the 10th generation Intel i9-10900K CPU.

The Core i9-11900K supposedly scores 695.4 points in the single-threaded CPU-Z benchmark. This score is 19% faster than Intel Core i9-10900K in the same test. Simultaneously this is the first leak of the Core i9-11900K CPU based on Rocket Lake-S architecture scores. The CPU is based on the Cypress Cove core design. The new structure will probably introduce a double-digit instructions-per-clock (IPC) increase over the Skylake-based 10th generation of Intel CPUs, according to PC Gamer, and Intel UHD Xe graphics. Compared to AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, considered the fastest CPU in the Zen3 series, the leaked score places Core i9-11900K faster by nearly 3% in a single-threaded benchmark.

However, AMD’s flagship 16-core 5950X CPU is still 90% faster in the multi-threaded benchmark of CPU-Z.

Other improvements include: PCIe 4.0 support for up to 20 lanes, support for new media encoders (HEVC, VP9, SCC, AVI up to 4K60), Deep Learning Boost for AI workloads, increased memory speeds, and new overclocking features.

Finally, according to the latest rumors, Intel will reveal its 11th Gen Core series at CES 2021. The new CPUs will not be available until the end of March 2021 or maybe even early April 2021.
