Spine
If you want to play an action game set in a dystopian future, Spine has everything you want. Two sides that want to control the world, and a technology that they need to do it. Sometimes unexpected games can surprise us in a positive way. We don't know if ExoMecha will be one of them, because we've very little information. Apart from a few tech demos, not much information has been shared about the game developed by TwistedRed, which was founded in 2019. Still, these videos and the story of the development team are enough to get us excited about this free FPS.
The team already works with the Unreal Engine and will take us to an exotic universe with ExoMecha. A crazy FPS experience awaits us with high-tech weapons, armor and mecha robots. Everything we see is like the love child of Halo and Killzone. We really want this to be a good thing. We want to remind you that it's one of the games that looks the most AAA compared to the other games on the list.

KartRider: Drift
There are a few free-to-play games being released that want a share of Nintendo's seemingly impossible magic. One of them is KartRider, an arcade racing game that, as the name suggests, is reminiscent of Mario Kart. If you want to play a fun racing game with your friends but don't have a Nintendo console, that's no problem anymore.
It's everything you expect from an arcade game: cute characters, vehicles with different designs and creative race tracks. Just like in Mario Kart, there are also power-ups and attacks that affect the gameplay. If you feel that you've heard the name KartRider before, you're probably right. That's because the series started in Asia in 2004. This game is its updated and renewed version.

Gangstar New York
It's almost time for the new game from Gameloft, one of the biggest developers of mobile platforms. They've managed to reach almost all devices with games like Asphalt 9, Idle Siege and The Oregon Trail.
Gangstar New York has everything you'd expect from an action open-world game. If you like GTA and Saints Row style games, you'll probably like this one too. There's plenty of action, car chases, cops, heists, gangs, helicopters, weapons, quests and much more. All the videos released meet the definition of mobile games, which look very high quality. But this time PC is on the list.

You may have noticed that most free-to-play games released in 2022 are action-oriented. This is normal because FPS and action type games are easier to sell. Crowz is one of them. This game, which will be completely free to play, is set in a dystopia destroyed by meteorites.
The concept of the game is almost standard. The post-apocalyptic world, the struggle for domination over dwindling resources and the inevitable end: war. When you see it for the first time, you mightn't believe that it'll be free-to-play. One of the most anticipated action games of 2022 with tiny drones, giant spider-like robots, different weapons and maps that feel like an open world.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt
We may have cheated a bit here, but Bloodhunt will technically be released in 2022. In the past few months, the Early Access version has been opened to a limited group of players. Despite its technical and content flaws, no one expected such a dynamic and entertaining game. The reviews on Steam are also quite positive.
The developers' goal now is to make this dynamic Battle Royale accessible to millions of players with the full game. There's no reason why they couldn't do that, because Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt will be completely free. With abilities, weapons, a vertical map design and much more that you won't find in any other game on the market, this game could be the best free-to-play game of 2022.

Deathverse: Let it Die
Let's talk about another Battle Royale game that will be released in Spring 2022, just like Bloodhunt. Deathverse will be the new member of the LET IT DIE series, which first appeared in 2016. Your goal in this melee-focused multiplayer game is the same as the others, to be the last player standing.
The story of the game is quite entertaining, but not very original. As characters participating in a live television show, we try to kill others while entertaining the audience. Many TV series and movies have covered this theme before, but still the gameplay looks very entertaining.

Considering that the game is described as “A Multiplayer Dragon Battle Game”, there's not much more to say. Different classes, customization options, huge maps, great graphics and completely free to play. After the game was released in 2021 on PC, it received great feedback from the gaming community. This means that we're hopeful for the console version in 2022.

Rumbleverse
Almost all of the Battle Royale games are about war, but there are also a few games with different ideas. Rumbleverse's idea is quite different from the others. You try to beat other players with American Wrestling moves on the 40-player map. Graphics that look like cartoons, cars that act as trampolines, and purely melee combat. Isn't it great?
You can understand that Rumbleverse is a big project, as it will be published directly by Epic Games. Free-to-play brawler royale sounds pretty interesting. Be sure to check out the game, which is currently accepting applications for early access.
